Reviews
I have eaten here several times for all three meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Service is always very prompt and the staff is usually friendly. The food is basic diner food with a great selection and I don't have any complaints! Parking is a little bit tricky, but certainly easier than parking on the Ave.!
I ordered the California Bennie and it was FANTASTIC!! Absolutely delicious and actually a good price for the amount of food you get ( as a GA girl currently living here, this is RARE). All staff were so positive and attentive!! The restaurant is exactly what you would expect at a diner! Will definitely be coming back here again!!
This is the best meal I've had in Greenwhich, CT. The food is great, solid cooking. The pancakes were fluffy and tasty. The eggs and potatoes are cooked so clean and everything has the flavor it should. Not plates of grease. The staff is down to earth and it's very warm and welcoming like a diner of the glory days was.
Why the low reviews? I've been here all summer while needing to be with a relative having medical care. We have been for breakfast and lunch. Service has always been friendly, helpful, and they are willing to make any special accommodations. The BLT on rye is amazing. Where is the bread from. Totally get this. Breakfast is your typical diner fare - which in my book is the best. Good food, good portion. Perfect.
I saw 800 plus reviews and I said, well, this place must be good, and it was ! The skillet ah! Yes, a must have. The onion soup, the mash potatoes, everything was cooked well and tastes delicious. Customer service was excellent. I can see why this looks like a local favorite.
